Programme Outline
This is unique Two-year full-time Master of Science in Data Science degree program that enables students to develop interdisciplinary skills, and gain a deep understanding of technical and applied knowledge in data science and analytics. As Hadoop and other similar frameworks have successfully solved the problem of huge data storage requirements, the focus has now shifted to the processing of this myriad of data. Data Science is the secret sauce here which helps in extracting meaningful insights from the complex and large sets of data all around us.Students will also get the opportunity to work on live projects and explore their academic learning with practical and real-life industry experience.
Eligibility
For National Students:
Bachelor’s degree in Science(B.Sc.) with one of the subject as Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science /B.Sc. Computer Science/ B.Sc. Information Technology / B.C A (Science) with minimum 50% marks.
For International Students:
The eligibility criterion for M.Sc. Data Science and Analytics program for international applicants is minimum 50% in the qualifying examination and having studied the pre-requisite subjects for admission in to the desired program.

Program Structure
- M.Sc.in Data Science and Analytics program is a post-graduate with two years duration. During the peak time students are made aware about the basic and advanced skills on Current trends like Machine Learning Algorithms, Artificial intelligence, Big Data Analytics, Deep Learning, Statistical Analysis, Data mining and data warehousing techniques using Python and R Programming languages. The program is delivered in active learning with experimental and learning to do methodology.
